Farm Help

Moving the sheep to pasture is a busy time on the farm.  Sarah is good help; she hired on for room,  board and a stipend to learn about what goes on around a farm that produces, adds value and  directly markets merino yarn from their sheep.

Yesterday was a long day getting the ewes out;  today, after we look at the sheep, we'll dye a black and extract the liquor from cochineal bugs to dye shades of fuchsia for a colorful and easier day.
